Cast & Crew

Remy Sharp

Roles : Director / Editor / Story

Remy

Remy storyboarding 'The Loaded Question'

The esteemed director of this little troupe is a force of nature, a tower of strength, a man of will. How else could he manage to convince otherwise perfectly normal people to dress up as psychos, have swords fights over a bottle beer, and spend a peaceful Sunday morning staging a vicious murder on Hampstead Heath?

As you can probably tell Remy has an interest in the macabre. Only one of his films doesn't feature a death, in front of the camera at least. There was that incident during the filming of Trained where he accidentally shot a traffic warden in the face but, hey, no biggie.

Remy directed all of the films featured on this site. He also acts as editor and occasional composer. He prefers to cast his gullible (but more photogenic) friends in front of the camera, although he can be seen in a Hitchcock-like cameo in Trained as the Fat Man.

Julie Sharp

Roles : Acting / Production

Julie

Julie made up as the dead girl in Sunday in the Park

The artist formerly known as Julie Briggs married the director in June 2004. She gets all the good parts.

Julie and Remy met at college, and began seeing each other in their second year. The following year saw them both head off to University in Greater London, where they continue to live in squalor, if no longer in sin. Remy would like to refer to Julie as his muse, except that he doesn't know what that means.

Julie can be seen (briefly) as the Fraidy Cat in The Axe Showdown, Background Fodder in War of the Buddies, Running Girl in Fast Food, the Girlfriend in The Loaded Question, the Bag Lady in Trained and Sophie in Sunday in the Park. She is the only person to have appeared in all of Remy's films.

Stephen Arundel

Roles : Acting / Story

Steve

Drive by axing

Stephen first met Remy at high school, where they shared a mutual love of film. This manifested itself their working together on a number of short productions for their media studies class. Rem often casts Steve as villains, not because he is a statuesque and hunky 6'6 tall, but because he is pathologically evil. His hobbies include drowning cats and hunting homeless people.

Stephen can be seen as the ill-fated boyfriend in The Loaded Question, Bad Guy in Fast Food and Lenny in Sunday in the Park. In addition to his work in front of the camera Steve and Rem continue to work on the Arrowarp project, an idea that can trace its origins back to their days at school. They promise to start filming any day now.

Andrew Boyd

Roles : Acting / Production

Andy

Andrew proving that his diet doesn't just consist of Burger King

Andrew and Remy have been friends since they were foetuses. Remy often wants Andrew to write things for him to film, but since that hasn't happened yet, Remy has resigned with making do with putting his hairy mug in front of the camera and asking him to write copy for his website.

"The Boydus", as Andrew is affectionately known, has a long association with movies (watching them that is) and is often the first to come to Remy's mind when searching for a new character to be portrayed. This is particularly because Andrew's range of skills can be quite easily extracted for filming by simply dangling a Burger King in front of his nose.

He can be seen as the Axe wielding killer of The Axe Showdown and the bottle jealous buddy in War of the Buddies (in which he also choreographed and donated the swords). He is also in Trained looking stressed and unkempt.

Supporting Cast

Stuart Mclaren

StuartStuart used to work with Remy, but managed to escape when the guards were having a fag break. He provided the central concepts for Sunday in the Park and also played the lead.

Phillip Reed

PhilRemy got Phillip to appear in Sunday in the Park because of an obscure Faustian deal which went hideously wrong and resulted in Remy owning his soul.

Lucy Bennett

LucyLucy is an old college friend of Andy's, and was asked to play a key role in Trained as The Wife. For this, she was paid the princely sum of a king size Snickers.
